About the Aga Khan University/Facebook Mobile Video Journalism Fellowship 2022
As a way to fill the gap created by the lack of quality stories, Aga Khan and Facebook created this fellowship program. In this program, the organizations will train qualified storytellers on digital mobile journalism. Hence, all selected fellows from this program will venture into Kenyan media houses. The storytellers will write stories for these media houses. And these stories are illustrations of life happenings. While in this line of duty, they will use their smartphones to tell these stories. In addition, they will also conduct a hands-on investigation and create relevant content. Every experience that participants gain will help them when they participate in boot camps and workshops. Furthermore, participants will improve their skill set in mobile editing, journalism, and storytelling. This program is strictly for individuals with video experience above all.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Aga Khan University/Facebook Mobile Video Journalism Fellowship 2022, you will need to fulfill the eligibility requirements.
